A front-page story in  features Emery Taylor, who at age 18 is set to become the youngest student ever in the UB School of Law when she enrolls this fall. Taylor, who is from Lyons, in Wayne County, said she wants to use her skills to advocate for people in vulnerable circumstances. “When you find something you really love, it’s not so stressful … Knowing that my goal is to make positive change motivates me to keep doing it,” Taylor said. In high school, Taylor took her sophomore- and junior-year classes in a single school year. Then, she took online college courses that gave her a significant head start before enrolling in UB’s 3+3 program, which is three years of undergraduate studies, followed by three years of law school.
